We rely on dedicated individuals who are passionate about helping animals in need. As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with pets, assist with their care, and contribute to their socialization.

Whether you’re walking dogs, socializing cats, or helping with events, your time and effort will make a meaningful impact. No prior experience is necessary—just a love for animals and a willingness to help. Volunteer Duties

Although we do not assign tasks nor positions, our volunteers see it that all of our animals receive enrichment. Some examples of your duties would be: 

• Walking the dogs. 
• Playing with the dogs. 
• Training.
• Playing with the cats. 
• and so much more!

For our friends under 18, here's how you can make a difference!

We understand and are greatly appreciative of your want to help our shelter! Please explore some of the projects we have listed below to help homeless animals in need. 

Option 1: Start a donation drive

• Print out, or make a flyer of our Shelter Needs List 
• Collect donations (Be sure to track the amount of hours it takes you to do this!) 
• Bring the donations to our shelter and have a representative sign off on the hours! 

Option 2: Make pet toys

• Find your own or use one of the tutorials: 

Dog Toys | Cat Toys

• For every 30 toys you make, we will sign off on 1 hour of community service!

Be sure to take plenty of photos and share any school projects in relation to your community service! We love to feature your work in our newsletter.

Court-Ordered Community Service

Please visit our office in-person or give us a call directly about starting your hours with our organization. 


Be sure to bring the following: 
1. Hours Log provided by the court 
2. Valid government issued ID 
3. Dress in clothes that may get dirty or wet
