We rely on dedicated individuals who are passionate about helping animals in need. As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with pets, assist with their care, and contribute to their socialization.
Whether you’re walking dogs, socializing cats, or helping with events, your time and effort will make a meaningful impact. No prior experience is necessary—just a love for animals and a willingness to help. Together, hand in paw, we can provide these deserving pets with the love and attention they need to thrive.

Volunteer Program Basics

• Must be 18 years old. 
• Following approval, you are required to attend an orientation. These are scheduled by phone or email. 
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of 8 hours a month for the first six months. 
• Please see the bottom of the page if you're needing to do community service hours.

If you're under 18, here's how else you can help! 

We recommend starting a fundraiser or donation drive using our Shelter Needs List. When people do these special events, we like to take pictures of them next to their donations and mention them on our quarterly newsletter!
